Role Overview

As a Senior BD Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our lending business forward. As part of our team in Riyadh, KSA, you'll work in an onsite environment, identifying and seizing new business opportunities, forging valuable partnerships, and ensuring our lending products reach the right clients. Your market knowledge, analytical skills, and passion for business growth will shape our expansion strategy and deepen our relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for our range of lending products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, brokers, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, monitor competitor activities, and pinpoint product improvement areas.
• Analyze customer needs and preferences to customize lending product offerings.
• Lead and participate in promotional events, conferences, and industry forums to showcase our lending solutions.
• Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable lending products.
• Provide detailed information on product features, terms, and conditions to clients.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes.
• Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to promptly address inquiries and resolve issues.

Must have requirements

• Proven track record in business development within the financial services or banking sector, focusing on lending products.
• Excellent understanding of lending products, financial markets, and industry regulations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in the UAE banking space, preferably retail banking.
• Existing SME portfolio within the KSA.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to read and interpret bank statements and VAT reports for SME businesses.

Nice to have requirements

• Experience with digital lending platforms or fintech environments.
• Arabic language skills.
• Regional knowledge of KSA banking and lending landscape.
• Relevant certifications in banking or financial services.
