Job Summary
Supervise and perform aircraft surface finish and paint activities, including corrosion control, coating application, and finishing tasks. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved technical procedures and safety standards, while supporting the training and development of technicians.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and perform paint removal, surface preparation, coating application, and finishing on aircraft components
Inspect, assess, and treat corrosion in line with approved standards
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with technical data, procedures, and safety requirements
Deliver on-the-job training (OJT) and support technician development
Monitor work quality to ensure coating standards (thickness, finish, uniformity) are met
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Ensure proper use, handling, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with FOD requirements
Coordinate with supervisors and management to support operational needs
Report any defects, risks, or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
Technical diploma or equivalent in a relevant field
Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft paint and surface finishing
Previous supervisory experience in an aviation environment
Strong knowledge of paint, spray, and corrosion control processes
Experience in on-the-job training (OJT)
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
