The purpose of CCTV management in retail companies is to protect property and people and ensure safety and security. Surveillance cameras play an important role in achieving these goals by:
Key Accountabilities
The functions and responsibilities of the CCTV Operator in retail companies are:
Surveillance CCTV recordings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes monitoring activity throughout the company, including retail areas, storage areas, and work areas.
Identify any suspicious or illegal activities. These activities can include theft, vandalism, violence, or work accidents.
Record any incidents or crimes. These recordings can be used to investigate incidents and bring suspects to justice.
Dealing with emergencies. This may include reporting incidents of fire, theft, or violence.
Assistance in investigations A CCTV Operator may be asked to advise or assist in investigations by police officers or company investigators.
In addition to these basic tasks and responsibilities, the CCTV Operator may also perform some other tasks, such as:
Installation and maintenance of the surveillance camera system.
Staff training on how to use the CCTV system.
Analysis of CCTV recordings data to improve operations.
Skills Description
Education
High school, or diploma
Saudi national.
First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution
abilities are required.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse, multicultural team environment.
Demonstrated ability to focus on job needs while always maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor
Strong work ethic, responsibility, reliability, and the ability to work rotating shifts (both day and night), split shifts, extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays are essential

Minimum 5 years Previous security or safety or LP or CCTV system experience in a similar role.
Key Competencies
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
At the beginning of the shift CCTV operator checks the status of all CCTV assets
CCTV operators check the logbook for any observation from the previous shifts.
Reports Cases according to sequence in logbook on hourly bases
CCTV starts observing special cases as required and finalizes unfinished reports and tasks.
Focus surveillance and monitor on sensitive products areas such as loading and receiving area honey and cosmetics.
Randomly Surveillance cashiers on store to observe and prevent theft and fraud cases.
Check Void and cancellation invoices and submit daily reports.
Check emergency doors are closed properly and in operations mood.
Submit daily reports for supervisor for actions according to cases.
