About the role:

To ensure that the Almarai Fleet repair and maintenance and asset management are carried out within the agreed plan and as per vehicle recommendation of the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines within budget constraints in a safe and compliant manner through a leadership style that promotes continuous improvement and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Safety: Lead safety initiatives to reduce accidents and conduct regular risk assessments.
People Management: Manage a large multicultural team, ensuring high engagement and low staff turnover.
Operations: Oversee the maintenance of a large diverse fleet, including tractors, reefers, and tankers.
Financials: Monitor operating costs and repair expenses against the planned budget.
Quality: Conduct annual SOP reviews and ensure high standards in workshop practices.

Requirements:

Knowledge of trailer refrigeration, electronic controlled units, and road haulage technical developments.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Automobile Engineering from recognized institute.
5–7 years as a Heavy Vehicle Workshop Manager or Supervisor in a similar environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP systems.
Fluency in English
