Administrative Assistant / Secretary Trainee (Tamheer Program)
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant / Secretary Trainee to join our organization through Tamheer Program. This role is primarily secretarial in nature and provides the trainee with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sector aligned with their area of interest, while supporting different departments with daily administrative and secretarial tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a departmental secretary, providing administrative and clerical support.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for managers and teams.
- Prepare, format, and file official correspondence, letters, reports, and documents.
- Handle incoming and outgoing emails, calls, and internal communications professionally.
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
- Follow up on requests, approvals, and action items across departments.
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
- Support coordination of meetings, workshops, and internal events.
- Perform other secretarial and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma degree.
- Eligible for the Tamheer program (HRDF).
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Professional communication and telephone etiquette.
- High level of organization, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple departments.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
