Job Summary:
The role holder will drive business growth by building strong relationships with borrowers and delivering tailored short-term lending solutions. Responsible for prospecting new clients, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role ensures high levels of client satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in financial services, strong product knowledge, and a focus on exceeding targets.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with borrowers to understand their financing needs and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins with borrowers to ensure product effectiveness and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Drive new business growth by identifying, targeting, and engaging prospective borrowers in need of short-term lending solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, and Risk) to create tailored financing solutions that meet borrower requirements.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive engagement, timely follow-ups, and closing new borrower deals.
Product Knowledge and Advocacy
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of our lending products, keeping up to date with product features, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
- Educate borrowers on the benefits and functionalities of our lending solutions and provide guidance on best practices for effective usage.
- Collect borrowers feedback and work with internal teams to refine products and enhance the borrower experience.
Market Analysis and Client Insights
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and improve borrower acquisition.
- Provide borrower insights and feedback to internal stakeholders to support the development of tailored marketing campaigns, product enhancements, and sales tools.
Reporting and Performance Management
- Maintain accurate records of borrower interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status in Manafa CRM systems.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, tracking progress toward sales goals and identifying areas for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate client satisfaction metrics, implementing strategies to enhance borrower retention and loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 1–5 years in sales or relationship management within the FinTech or financial services industry.
- Proven experience in short-term lending or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of lending products, client engagement strategies, and the digital lending landscape.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
