JOB PURPOSE:
Carryout a variety of inspection activities for static equipment within the designated areas of responsibility and report the findings. Gather data for review and analysis by Senior inspection engineers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Carry out day-to-day inspection activities in the designated area of responsibility.
Fill out inspection checklist and ensure that all work permits applications are properly filled out and addressed.
Inspect all equipment in the designated area, reports issues as appropriate. Ensure that safe working procedures and practices are undertaken in all activities.
Identify drawings and manuals required for conducting inspection activities.
Assist in preparing and submitting daily reports on inspection works accomplished.
Conduct periodic integrity site visits and report and anomalies. Conduct visual inspection for relief valves after overhauling.
Carry out inspection as per inspection and test plan. Carry out welding inspection and witness the Hydrotest.
Prepare NDT packages and coordinate with maintenance contractors. Coordinate with contracts as required.
Comply with the company’s policies, procedures to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
Work as team within department and acts as a champion for all company policies and procedures particularly in the areas of human resources and health and safety.
Perform other related duties as assigned by lead engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Diploma in inspection or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
